Description:
90 minutes of yoga designed to work for first timers or those relatively new to yoga but with some stronger options for those with more experience. I have had some experience with yoga working in pairs. This is helpful for learning and exploring some poses but also creates a more social experience and personal contact in a yoga appropriate way. This doesn’t mean you need a partner but that there will be opportunities to work with others in the class during parts of the session. More experienced yogis would be very helpful here also.

There are heaters so that we can make the yoga area a warm temperature even on the coldest nights.
There are some rubber mats used for the rope sessions but I would suggest that you bring a yoga mat or towel for lying on. If you are new to yoga, a small cushion, yoga block or something you can put under your butt will make the sitting poses more comfortable. It may also be advisable to have a blanket or something warm to put on as we cool down at the end of the class.
For anyone considering yoga for a first time experience, don’t talk yourself out of it because you don’t think you are flexible. The goal is to maintain and overtime have the opportunity to increase your flexibility rather than train to be a Cirque du Soleil performer. A key theme for me always is that your yoga is for your body and not a competition of any sort. If you’re a rope bunny the stretches and breathing exercise all help for those challenging occasions.

- True Colours. An old-fashioned singalong in which we honour the fact Cyndi Lauper sees our true colours and we can call her up because we know she'll be there. Also a slick coating of UV reactive paint and candle wax.
- Full Moon Bum Circle. We succumb to the pull of the moon with a ritualistic collective slapping of the drums which are bums, our rhythmic vessels for earthly communion.
- Striptease Trio. Interludes of saxophone player strip, butch single-tassle strip, and femme flying flinging splaying Girl Power medley strip.
- Worm Rave. Wriggling, writhing, fairy lights and trance.
